Just released, Horror Movie Talk presents the Midnight Mass Aftershow. We’ll breakdown each episode of the upcoming seven-part horror series by Mike Flanagan on Netflix with a companion aftershow episode.
About Midnight Mass
When Father Paul’s appearance on Crockett Island coincides with unexplained and seemingly miraculous events, a renewed religious fervor takes hold of the community. But do these miracles come at a price?
From Mike Flanagan, the creator of The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass tells the tale of a small isolated island community whose existing divisions are amplified by the return of a disgraced young man and the arrival of a charismatic priest.

Really enjoyed your Midnight Mass coverage will be back to check out other podcasts.
Couple things:
1) good thing you called out you name challenges bc found myself yelling Riley’s brother is Warren multiple tones at you-one of 2 survivors but since you have that “name recall” condition no big deal
2) agree with point about ppl keeping core of who they are which is why when Leeds’s parents were so focused on finding her it made sense bc from minute she was shot & paralyzed their lives were consumed by her care.
3) fyi in the Ignaz Semmelweis story-reason the deaths & infections were higher in teaching hospital was bc physicians frequently left morgue after autopsies to care for patients literally bringing disease into maternity ward with them. Bad enough spreading things from patient to patient but from morgue to babies.
Thanks again for great discussion

Mo, thanks so much for these great points! I had no idea that docs would go strraight from the morgue to the maternity ward but it makes sense! We are bad with names and it’s a weakness but thanks for taking it easy on us! Thanks again!
